The Maternal, Adolescent, Reproductive, and Child Health (MARCH) Care Initiative (MCI) is a consortium of dedicated healthcare professionals and health advocates unified by a common mission: to end preventable deaths among adolescents, mothers, newborns, and children in Nigeria.

To achieve global best practices for adolescent, maternal, newborn, and child healthcare in Nigeria, emphasizing adequate nutrition, good governance, and high-standard education. 

To enhance public self-efficacy for health and well-being among caregivers, promote patient satisfaction, and ensure professional competency across all levels of healthcare service delivery within diverse professional environments.

Advocacy & Training

Engage stakeholders to secure commitment and investment in health initiatives as well as collaborate with government and development partners to enhance healthcare worker capacity.

Health Protection, Support & Promotion

Support protective services like preconception health, breastfeeding, immunization, and family planning. Provide safe delivery and specialized newborn care, including care for those with birth defects. Raise awareness through education programs that promote healthy behaviors and informed decision-making.

Empowerment, New born under-5, and Adolescent Health

Implement interventions to improve skills and economic well-being, reducing hunger and poverty. Offer mentorship and supervision to ensure optimal care for preterm babies and children with health issues, and support community-level health interventions.
